Vicodin Withdrawal

My question is what are the symptoms of vicodin withdrawal.  I have been taking 8 tablets a day for over a year.  I know that doesnt sound like a lot to some people but for me that is quite a bit.  I have been experiencing overall pain for quite some time.  I would get prescriptions for vicodin(5mg...7.5mg and 10mg) also I would be get prescriptions for tramadol.  I would use them the way I was supposed to and then stop when I didnt need them.  After about 2-3 days I would get these aches and pains.  Almost like I had the flu.  Then I would start up again.  Finally, this time around I went to see the dr.  I thought I was going to die. Was in a lot of pain since Saturday(02/16/08)  the last time I had taken any of my pain killers was proberly on Thursday.  My dr asked me if I ever experienced withdrawal symptoms.  I knew this was not withdrawal symptoms, I felt like a mac truck ran over me.  My left side feels like someone has just kicked me.  Today(Tuesday) I started thinking about what she said.  I do believe I am experiencing something.  I still have not taken anything for this pain, except for tylenol(extra strength)  I am having the runs.  Anyway, now I kind of understand the cycle.  I would like to know the symptoms of withdrawal.  Also see if I can get some help with my sleep.  I have tried melatonin, passionflower, valerian root and a few other herbs to help me.  Still having problems.  I can't take sleeping pills, because I have memory lapse when I have used them.  I have even driven my car with my children in it and don't remeber.  I don't touch them because after my husband told me about what I had done, it scared me!!!  Sorry so long, but looking for a little help.

Thanks

The RLS is Restless Leg Syndrome!  This is where your legs are shaking so bad you cannot control them, or they just jerk and you cannot control it!  HORRIBLE STUFF!

The worst of the Physical is usually over by day 5-6! Then you start to feel like a person again for a few days, and then you have to deal with the mental part of it all!

BEST OF LUCK!@
