Vomiting Oxycontin

I have been on 240-300 mg of Oxycontins for the past year never abused it before now, I began snorting (rookie move), about three days ago I decided to snort the last pill plus one more. I did not really notice that bigga difference. At about 3 pm after snorting pills at 3 am I am visiting with a friend and suddenly need to start puking, I have kept puking about every three hours all day yesterday and then about an hour after my normal morning dosage today. I don't have any idea what to do. I am not sure If I am withdrawing from the snorting extra curricular, or if I am overdosed for a couple of days. At this point I accept my demise and am so sick that I need to get the guns outta the house, cuz I feel dangerous to myself. Beleive me I have not been mentally addicted to these, just stupid. SOOO, can anyone tell me if I am overdosed or withdrawing? I don't know what to do.  What ever it is, it makes a my memories of my last tequilla hangover in 1984 seem like a really cool christmas present.. (f-opiate abuse, thank god they kill pain)....

Finally well again, baked Ziti for dinner. Thank again all. my urine is finally rid of the dark color which means I am hydrated... D-bird out.. Once again. Thank you all..

Hi diamond, that was a good quote above me or below me, may I even suggest baby food, good ol gerbers and NO, dilaudid is a dirivative of oxys and morphine. Its worse my friend, WORSE. I am also in my 50's and I tried to keep up with the big boys in their 20's and early 30's, trying to be some kid again. I am what I am and I have to deal with it, and work on it instead of escaping life on life's terms. NO excuses. Alleve also works wonders but watch NSAIDS, they can cause ulcerations and internal bleeding. Just stick with plenty of water, walk just a little, tylenol, a little meditation and stay on board with the rest of us. We are normal people, but suffer a grave disease that we were born with. KeeKee  said it all very well.  My daughter, she was 20 when she started oxy,  I could always tell when she relapsed (in addition to stolen funds and other disgusting signs )   she would throw up from the bottom of her toes,  she was never sick as a child so initially it was extremely frightening to me, I have never heard anyone vomit like she did when she was abusing oxy  my gosh  it was obscene.    

Water water and more water. As much fluid as you can take in,  (look at it this way it is easy coming up... :)  ...)    Gatorade .....  even pediolite that is used for children will help you....  sports drinks.....   electrolytes are important, you can read the ingredients on the labels......  avoid all  OTC  pills   Tylenol or anything until your tummy is okay...    Good luck  I hope you feel better soon   and am glad to hear you learned a very important lesson for your life.  
(You might want to try some  popsicles, ice cream or sherbet ,  mashed potatoes,  comfort food    soft foods  with sodium  are key  and most importantly fluids)

I just ate a real meal without dropping it back into the throne of dolts, guts still feel crappitotious. I do not feel emotionally drawn to the dope, been there done that(coc)... I will never be a downer dude (expecially now that I have experienced what all the clammer is about and read your posts, thank god for you all taking the research out for me) I understand the high now and I get the nausia too. Some folks do sex then theres greed, weed, huffers, cutters, second story men, Crackheads, Cocers, basers, nitrous ballooners and methheads. Then there are politicians, petifiles and adulters. May I just say that I am 50 years old and still pretty dumb, BUT after my peek into the door of pain pill abuse. I must say this is a party for younger men or another kinda dude.. I liked tampering, just don't like any part of it beyond that... I am **** sick man I prefer, overeating and cigarettes. I am getting help on the weight and  hopefully that will stop the pain in my hips, legs and feet, How many days am I gonna be overdosed for, It has been 2 now, and I still have no pain yet. PS.. You want to talk about nightmares, I semi slept last night and woke up muttering to myself to be careful as suicide was at the door... God bless you people out here sharing your paths,I am seeking professional help and will confess this to him next week. I wonder if dilaudid is less evil than OXY... OR if I should just get off of this path completely (what about the pain)... I actually have that...
!! As I read these columns and see all these people snorting away, shooting away. Two days floating and sniffing and I am over it thanks for the comebacks the support hopefully and most likely saved my life.  Thanks again, super comforting... BTW,what is the best way to get undehydrated without hospitals and IV's

I know what you have gone through bird, I used to puke too on oxys. You are overdosing, your system cannot tolerate all of that going into your system all at once. Oh yes, you get used to it, and then its the monkey on your back for a long long time. Then after that you run into problems, especially money, family, job, self eseem, pride, the list goes on and on. I thought it was the only way to go. I have been off oxys for almost 6 months. And now I am detoxing from vics, 10 10's a day/ I dont have a choice, my liver is about shot to heck. So, I have ran out of choices, plus I am under the radar throughout the tracking system in this state. I was a doc shopper. It caught up with me. I was confronted from an ER doc, he new my game as he dealt with people like me on an hourly basis. Give it a try, one day, no drug, then another and another, I am doing the same, after 12 days, its so much better, stay busy and eat and take vitamin complexes... good luck, keep in touch
