how do i make quitting hydros cold turkey easier? i have no choice but cold turkey

Have you been through w/d's before, kelldog? Do you have anyone, I mean, even a friend you can reach out to help you? It sounds like a rather lonely situation but that doesn't mean you can't do this You absolutely can and we'll help you.

Thanks for responding i have been on them for about 6 years I was cutting a tree down and it fell on me and messed me up i have back pain that can get pretty bad but id rather live with pain than pills im up to about 15 a day on a good day.sometimes 20 double my origiginally prescribed dose 6 years ago I hava no options left but to quit i am scared and dont have a good support situation im currently living rent free in a motel owned buy a relative in a small town in south dakota so making them unavailable is not hard but i want to not want them i run out all the time so im gonna try to quit altogether thanks again

Look up the Thomas Recipe in medhelps search engine. also the Amino Acid Protocols. Treat your body well - wd is pretty hard on it! Stay hydrated - gatorade and stuff. If you arent eating well get some liquid protein drinks (ensure, etc.)  Use warm baths and showers quite liberally....they help. Maybe melatonin or diphenhydramine for sleep problems. Exercise is very important - although you probably wont feel like it. The amino tryosine is good for that - as is theanine for anxiety.....knowledge is power!
