Good morning DandMe,

You're not going crazy. I've also had a painful buring sensation in my ears while withdrawing. It wasn't an internal ear pain for me, but more in or on the external ear. And it was more of a burning sensation is the best way I can discribe it. It wasn't unbearable for me, it was just uncomfortable at times. Honestly, I don't think its anything you have to worry about unless its a pain more on the inside of the ear, where it might affect your hearing. (What?) Your hearing. (Nevermind, its an inside joke.)
Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

My ears are feeling better, but your are right, it's about the mind set.  It's funny how we addicts are so ready to  take a pill, no matter the rerason.

No, I've never snorted pills, I'm really starting to think it's an ear infection.

Thanks, I was hoping you would say that.  I'm feeling very weak right now.  I'm so emotional.  I'm the one that everyone comes to for tough love.  I need that right now.

An ear infection  is NO excuse for a pill....lol, seriously!

See your Dr. in the morning. I can NOT imagine a Dr. giving a narcotic for an ear infection.

I've never had an ear infection in my life, but what a fine time to get one.  I really was hoping to stay out of the dr. office for fear of getting more pill and not being able to say no.  I really want one now PLEASE tell me an ear infection is NO excuse for a pill.

i agree that maybe you had an ear infection for some time and the pills were masking the pain maybe? Or it could be new onset/getting a cold or something. Do you typically get ear infections with a cold?  Hope you feel better soon.

Also I think WD lowers your immune system!  You could also be getting sick.

Never had an earache with WD.  Maybe you have an actual ear infection, but the pain meds covered the pain before.. very strong possibility.  You should go to the docs.

You might want to see a doctor about that, I never have an earache while WD, but mercy who knows?

I haven't read on here where anyone else has mentioned it either, but maybe call your doctor.
