i tapered quicly as wel;ll as i had a date picked to off work..almost a CT as I was afraid I would lose motivation..i was at 80-100 mgs and quit in ten days til my time off...slow tapers are less painful in the end..cutting down like a pill a week..if u can stick to it..and many can not..someone held my pills but it was very inconvenient as she did not live close by//10 days i was ready to quit!

the journals have a wealth of info...each person who has been here any length of time usually has some informative journals....like stated..click on the name, go to their profile, click on their journals..then u can look in a list view of titles which is easier and pick the info topics u want to read...u will learn alot there ..most have their journals open to all..some have thenm for friends only..i better check and be sure mine are open to all  (:

Going from 70 to 40 is an almost 50 percent reduction. That's way too much and too fast for a taper. You should be decreasing at most 10 percent every 5 days or so. 10mg a week would be a good target. Decreasing that much is gonna make it just as bad as going cold turkey.
