Amino Acids- what do you suggest?

Many have suggested amino acids when going through w/d's but what are they called? I dont mean to sound ignorant but when going to the drug store I have never seen them and have been looking- are they called something else? Does anyone have any suggestions?

anxiety and well being...theanine
depression...5htp and SAMe...st johns wort helps many as well tho not an amino acid

for pain problems there are different key aminos

dont forget ur vitamins tho as well...a good B complex, a cal/mag supp at night, a good multi...EmergenC/powdered from walmart was the one for me..it also made me push more fluids and it is good for the immune system....after detox some tend to become ill often for a while...get ur C and zinc
