withdraw symptoms from Vicoprofen.

I developed tendonitits in both wrists earlier this year. My dr put me on Vicoprofen (7.5/200). The dosage was one tab four times daily. I decided that I was sick of taking pain meds and threw them out. I didn't know that I was going to have such nasty effects from doing that. I am a pharmacy tech as well, so you would think I would know better. It has been almost 3 days since I haven't taken any hydrocodone. How long does the withdraw symptoms last? I am having really bad anxiety as well. I had anxiety before I even became injured. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks you guys for the support. I am still in pain, but I DON"T want to take any narcs again. I had no idea the withdraw symptoms would suck so bad. I am starting to feel better with each day. Thanks Calamity for the kind words, I was having a hard time dwelling on the negative thoughts. I have been praying as well. One day at a time!

Yes it should be a little better each day. The important thing to know is . Dont even think that taking one pill of any opiate to take the edge off will help.  I had 2 weeks clean and took just a few on the weekend and went right back to the anxiety and wds.
dont run negative tapes in your head. Refuse to have a negative thought . Replace them with any thought that is positive. Look around you think nice rug nice anything just dont spent time that space or it can destroy you. Keep it simple .  Pray

It usually lasts 3-5 days or so....at least that's the worst of it.  You can have lingering WDs for a while after that, but those are usually tolerable.  (anxiety, RLS, insomnia etc) There are some things listed on the Thomas Recipe and amino acid protocol that I have done myself, and they help.  I think it's listed on the health pages.  

3 days is great!  You will be feeling better soon!
