Another new post

Hmmm,well i thought i already posted this, but just looked and didnt see it!?!?

So I guess I'll post again. I want to wish everyone a happy and clean new year!

I've been working hard on getting clean since November 10. But I've had 2 slip UPS, so I guess I'm on day 3 once again. But I'm going to fight this battle for my life with everything I have.

I'm not going through much physical wd, I guess because of the clean time I had and then small slip UPS then back on the right path immediately. But as many of you know, its never really the physical for me, its the mental and depression and everything I've numbed coming all up and once and the no energy thing.

So, I've been trying to work on that, ran some errands today, went and got my little one some books and ended up getting myself like every Janet evonovich book they had lol. So, I have lots of reading to do!

When I got out of the library, my car wouldn't start again. I could have lost it, but God kept sending me angels. By the time it was over, I had like 6 people that were helping me, even stripped my fried wires, bought some spray off corrosion stuff and new battery posts!!! It was amazing! Nobody would even take money, they just kept saying that's how everyone should treat other and everyone would have miracles. It was beyond description.

So, happy and clean new year to all of you! We are gonna rock 2014!!!

Thanks all for your comments! I check this site obsessively lol! I'm about to start reading the very first Stephanie plum book by Janet evonovitch! Yay! Excited, me time. I've read lots of her books but never the first one....

Happy New Year.  For all of us.  You are so caring and your posts have encouraged me so much... time for you time.  I went to a physic once that said we all have angles around us all the time.  I believe that and with this mental part... need them!  Take care... please

Well tooter,
yea my parents know. But doesn't help much, my mom is a bigger addict than me and misery loves company ya know. My dad is so used to my moms ways, it doesn't really seem to matter to him. The only other family I have around is my 2 kids and they are too young to talk to about this in my opinion.
Yes I still plan on getting our own place in January and I can't wait! That alone will take away so much stress and triggers.
And I'm trying really hard to get over my past. Even went to my therapist yesterday and told her I had been an addict for years and now everything I have been numbing along with my depressing present is all coming to the surface and now I want to dig through it no matter how painful so I can just get over it and move on to a better future!

Are you still going to get your own place in January? Does you mom and dad, kids know of your slip ups? It's the mental part for me as well. I think it is for everyone. There's days I wish I would die. Thank the Lord I'm still here. We all have a past that hurts us, we just have to put it behind us and get on with the present. I saying all this to myself as well. Even the past good times can't help us now so why let the bad ones keep us down?. I need to get my shower but I'm letting the bathroom get warm first. God Bless
