Withdrawal from Roxicodone

I've been able to reduce my addiction down to 1/2 a 30 mg pill every 6 to 7 hours with an occasional relapse into small binging. For some reason I can't reduce my taper to below a half pill every 7 hours.  When I'm lucky enough to sleep and go beyond 7 hours to 8, I feel awful and crazy enough to behave foolishly in public.  So I snort another half a tab.  Were I to swallow the half pill rather than inhaling it, I wouldn't feel the effects enough to ward off withdrawal symptoms.  I was planning on reducing my intake to a half a pill every 9, or 10, or 11 hours, just by staying on such a seemingly low dose (90 mgs a day) for so long (say 4 months) that my cravings could magically diminish.  But there is NO diminishing desire that develops, whatsover.  Rather the opposite.  It's not that I want to enjoy 5 pills a day, I never want to get that bad again.  150 mgs a day would make me even more miserable.  But the dream of enjoying the pain relief of only 30 mgs a day (one pill per day) seem to be a Walt Disney fantasy with no basis in Reality.   My question is, Is it POSSIBLE AT ALL to taper off of this narcotic without a substitute and if it is, than what would your target last and lowest doses be?  For instance, how far away am I from that Paradise dose that would permit someone to terminate all consumption thereafter?  What is that dose?  Is it as low as one 30 mg pill a day? Is it lower? I'm down to (2.4) pills a day (which means I take 1/2 a 30 mg. tablet every 5 hours)  amounting to 72 mgs a day.  Even though that may sound very low, believe me I'm an addict that will go through the worst unbearable pains of withdrawal were I to quit cold turkey from this meager but thoroughly addictive dosage.  I just can't see a dose low enough to quit from.  The idea of taking a half pills every 12 hours is such a fantasy from where my body is now, it's impossible.  But I thought I could taper a tiny bit ( say 15 -30 minutes longer between half pills) so in about 4 months I could be down to 1/2 pill every 12 hours.  IS THAT A HUMAN POSSIBILITY?  It sure sounds like a daydream considering what I feel after 8 hours from my last meager 15 milligrams.   Thank you for any DIRECT ANSWER with regard to the dosages and time intervals I'm talking about.  In other words can you address my intake specifically - that is reduction to less than a half a 30 mg Roxy every 5 to 7 hours.

Is there any way that you can get percocet instead of roxys because u can get 10mg percs and taper down with those a little easier than u can with roxys because u will know exactly how much u r taking with a perc rather than breaking up a roxy and that way instead of taking 15 two times a day u could take 10 3 times a day so it's not spreadbout so far between doses that us what I would start with if I was doin it so say you r takin 75 a day now u can go to 70 with the percs and take it 7 times a day for a week and then 6 a day fir a week and so on. What I'm gettin at is it is alot easierbto taper with percs than it is roxys because u can tell exactly how much u are taking with the percocet rather than guessing at it by breaking the roxys up
