Hello & Welcome to our Community.
Congrats on you time so far!!
We have all kind of ppl out here with their own stories and many ppl with different careers. This Disease does not care what or who you are.
We used for many, many reason and could find every excuse to continue.
Are you getting any Aftercare? This is so important, as it will take one Addict to help another. I go to many Meetings and Church. I also been studying Addiction in a Scientific way for over 3 yrs now. We have to always keep our Guard Up at all times. That good ol pleasure part of the brain can and will play that tape back again and again to use for any excuse when it has been triggered. The detox is the easy part..yes uncomfortable, but working on staying clean is what takes the Cake. Stick around for Support and also to Support others too. Make sure you try to set yourself up with some Aftercare. I do wish you the best and I am proud you decided to get your life back at a very Young Age and at such a short time of using. YOU are one of the lucky ones that did not waste over 10-20-40yrs or more of your life doing this and Whacking out the Brain Chems even worse. Good for YOU! Keep it up! Be Safe and be Good!
Bless
Vickie
