You guys friggIn ROCK!

To call you "Life savers" would be the understatement of a lifetime. Each post I've made has been met with compassion, understanding and wisdom. I'm totally blown away as I did not expect this..that complete strangers could offer each other support during a major life crisis such as opiate wd.

I've spent this entire day on this website trying to figure out what was happening to me and why I'm feeling the way I do.  The responses Ive received have helped calm this raging storm and put the fight back in me.

I've received compassion, understanding and even a few a$$ kickings to help balance this journey.

I know I'm doing a lot of complaining right now but
Once I'm healed I plan on hanging around to offer the same support to others that are just beginning this journey.  Sure wish we could all meet one day but I'm sure enjoying speaking with all of you.

Yes people here are lifesavers and do it because they've been helped here and just want to give back. One huge benefit of having all of the veterans is that we have been there done that. So it's pretty hard to BS any of us. As far as complaining that's what we are here for, I know when I was going through w/d I complained so much that I sure some people said "I wish he would go to bed and shutup" LOL just kidding guy's.

I am glad to hear you plan on sticking around once you get through it as we need all the help we can get. Also this forum is a great place to help keep your head screwed on right. God Bless---Rick

everyone needs someone to talk to ... sometimes like you said a complete stranger can offer just the smallest amount of advice or show that there are people who care about others regarless of their issues or complaints or whatever it may be... im glad that you are thinking better.... god doesnt give you any challenge he doesnt think you cant handle... the harder the challenge you make yourself succeed...going through life climbing one hill just to see another and another until one day you reach the top and all you see is wide open space and its a beautiful sight ...you have reached the top of that hill....now where you go is up to you.  they say wisdom comes with age... i believe wisdom comes with making mistakes and learning from them... you never know whats wrong or right until you find out for yourself...keep your head held high and with each new day breath in the air of life and love it...  :)
