Today I did'nt use.

I haven't post for weeks but I read them every day.
"Cold Chicken" in march 50+ clean days counting each one.
with strong conviction and determination which I still have.
I quit the pain pills started for real back injury. I relapsed, ***** to be me/us "addictive personality" and " alcoholism runs in the family" anything that makes you feel good can't get enough of.
No more counting days for me. Every new day I get up and say I'm not going to use today. I had to look at my tracker to see What my clean time was. It surprised me to see I was up to 26 days.
Back pain, yeah bad days yeah when a good day sneaks in I really cherish it.
"Hang tough"for everyone.

Thank you for the support. I wanted members who helped me so much during my detox ct to know i am still around. My slip was a setback but today is a new day and nothing like the last day 27.
Good day to all.

Congrats and keep up the good work. A day will come when you will just wake up and go. You probably wont even realize that you didn't have to remind yourself NOT TO USE.
I find myself thinking less about the evil pills, and I also love not counting pills or watching the clock.
Great job

I am so glad you picked yourself up and went forward after the relapse.  Good sign you are serious.  One day at a time is ALL we can ask for.  Keep strong and I hope you find ways to help with the back pain.
