I start today

Hi everyone,
I start my ct today. I'm prepared as much as anyone can be. I'm trying to keep in mind how much better my life will be without the pills. I can do this. I also have to say what a great group of people here.

I have a half of a 15mg oxycodone left and that's just for show and 1 suboxone which from what I hear one won't do much good.

I don't have a working computer at home but as soon as I surface next week I will post. I'm just trying to get this day over and get my paycheck.

Yes good luck with it.  I found that the hardest part of the w/ds for me was the insomnia.  Just take some Melatonin and try to exercise as much as you can and you should be fine.  98.9% of the detox is psychological so if you have a good support group and keep telling yourself how much better you will feel and how much money you will save and you can do it!

Congrats on wanting to do this!!Srock up on the imodium!!You can actually use that sub and break it in half for 1 day and other half for another.Will help you during the rough patches (days 3-5).You can do this my friend!!We're here for you!!!Good luck;stay strong,and keep your guard up!~Anne

Thank you for saying the wd's were not as bas as expected. I need to hear that. People have different pain tolerenace and I have always been one not to be in so much pain so it's ironic I'm stuck on these pills.

Good luck! I am on day 5 and am starting to feel much better! Yesterday, (day 4) seemed to be the turning point. The withdrawls were not as bad as I expected. I took the week off of work and really could have worked yesterday and today.
