Dealing with withdrawal from Tramadol, Norco/Hydrocordone

I have been taking Hydrocordone for four years to handle carpal tunnel. I have had the surgery and really don't need it anymore. The doc dropped me to 5.0 mg Norcos and told me to "taper off." Well, I heard that tramadol was not addictive because it was a synthetic drug so I took those instead. NOW, it seems the tramadol is even more addictive. Is that true? Also, I just went back to taking the Norco and tapering off that BUT...I think I now have BOTH drugs to have to kick. Luckily, I have never overdone the dose...always half a pill of Norco and/or now half of tramadol three times a day. I don't know which one to taper off with....also, I just ordered that Elimidrol...(the one you see advertised everywhere). I took the first daytime dose yesterday....jury is still out on that....tasted like crap and made my lips numb.

Don't know how to deal with this.

Hi there- You're not taking very much of either one so maybe you can stop the Norco and taper the Tramadol.  Tramadol is addicting and many people have a rough time with wd's so I would taper it off a little.

Seizures are reported with Tramadol when taking in high doses and when abruptly stopping from high doses.  Again, you don't take much so just cut back a little bit over a period of time and you should be fine.

You can also ask the prescribing doctor for advice with this. Good luck!
