am I feeling normal

Actually I have two problems #1 I take 4-5 vicoprofen 700 mgs for hip & back pain (arthritis) and a six pack of beer every night... on weekends a lot more beer and maybe two to three more pills every Sat.& Sun. I'm very depressed and want off this ride  I can't remember anything! I have an appointment with the Doc in two days ....but afraid of asking her to take me off for fear I'll have pain again and won't be able to walk...or is it I'm afraid of facing my life without being high? The panic is setting in...is this feeling normal?

Welcome to the forum --- You are at the right place and asking the right questions.  We all hope you will get off now before your use really starts to escalate.  The combination you are on will only get worse and soon you will be where many of us were.  The hardest thing I have ever done is to tell my doctor -- -- I knew that doing so would result in my not getting any more of my drug --- but I did it anyway --It was so much freedom when I realized that even if I changed my mind there was no going back ---- . That helped to keep me strong ---  Let me tell you that most on this site will tell you that if you try to leave a door open back to your supply, you will most likely fail ----- You must slam every door and maybe even change some friends --- It is so much worth it when you are no longer a slave to this cr*ap.  Wish you all the best.  Please keep posting and sharing your own journey.
