I am 1 year clean....I have been to court so many times with my ex when I went to rehab my ex took my kids with the agreement they would return home after ( Rehab was my choice not court order).  Surpise he filed for custody.  My whole xanax issue started in 2003 when I went thru a very ugly custody battle with him 40,000 later rehab ect I am fighting him again.  My daughters want to come home they are 14 an 16 have a lawyer.  The courts have order a drug an acohol evaluation I cant find a place to do it.....everywhere I call it seems the evaluations are for people who are using.  I have taken numerous drug tests ect but this is the only thing that is keeping my girls from coming home.  ANY help please.......

I agree I have asked for help finding one seems NJ an TN dont care much for eachother LOL....My kids have numerous time said what they want but my ex throws another log on the fire saying this test that test this report it seems endless.....I just swpoke with the courts now they are saying a backround check I said omg I have national clearence I am a VP I have been in my industry 16 years dont even have a speeding ticket....had to revert to my madien name because my ex put a blog on my married name so the whole world could see I went to rehab.....Its just so hard I have seen my girls 2 times a total of 18 day in the last year I just dont know if I can keep returning them knowing he is mind screwing my kids .......I have called everywhere in NJ its seems they just dont care since the childeren were not in danger and I was not in legal trouble they see no need to waste time on this when families and kids who are in need the help.....

I agree, the kids are at an age where they can choose which parent they want to live with.
They can also choose not to visit the noncustodial parent.  IF the court is ordering the drug eval, they should help you to find a place to do it.

have you asked your lawyer if they can recomend a place to do the tests or maybe try scoial services?????? sorry i'm not more help

I'm sorry about your situation, But your girls are of legal age to consent. They can chose where to live unless there are underlying issues. I'm talking to my buddy now and he is a divorce lawyer, but the law may differ in your state. Are you employed and can offer them a stable environment?  Tuck.
