If you are on day 3 you are so so close... just keep thinking positive and keep asking for help on here, every response I have gotten is so helpful, I don't know anyone on here, yet you all feel like close friends... thanks and be strong!! i'm pullin for you!!
No no no on day 3 now just curious... Needed to know when the sleeping to normal with out hot and cold sweats lasts for
from my point of veiw,
day 1 thru day 3 are the hardest! I spend many restless nights the first 3 days! the pain and mental pain are difficult! I would find myself crying just because i can! I am also biPolar so my mental status is never clear it seems anyways. the restless leg syndrome takes in and i would find myself pacing the floor.I would get hot n cold flashes alot. I never tried the thomas recipe but have heard good things about it! So you might wanna consider that! Hot Hot Hot baths work wonders for sleeping lol . Good luck to you and One day at a time!
pretty munch what duluthguy said was what happened for me so like he said follow the Thomas recipe and drink plenty of water or Gatorade etc...whichever you like something that hydrates you and yeah post .read post more read more that's pretty munch the key to my success of getting through the 4 days but don't let the w/d's ever scare you from trying it's sorta like a bad flu nothing you can't manage there won't be a whole lot of sleep so have dvd's or something to entertain yourself and Imodium for the diarrhea that was my best friend for a couple days..and just talk with people on here they mostly all been through this or something like it so your not alone and usually the worst subsides day 4 for most so are you just going to start soon or what..?????..god bless you ...
I am probably the least experienced one on here, but as no one has posted I will give you my best answer. Again, this is just my experience. The pain and anguish are the first 3-4 days, probably 3 for you with what you were taking... They are bearable if you stay on this forum the whole time, when you are awake! The thomas recipe helps, hot showers and baths help, and just talking about what you are feeling is a huge huge comfort! Don't let the addiction tell you to sugar coat or hide any aspect of what are going through, be bold and that will give you so much strength! My mind is still groggy, but getting much better already!! You can do it, i just know it...
