The shower totally works...

I feel asleep for two hours in the bathtub at the peak of my withdrawal symptoms on night 2.  I woke up in freezing cold water though so that sucked!!!!  I don't suggest doing that but it goes to show just how well the hot baths/showers work!!

yhes its perfectly normal to nat have any energy....depending on how much you take a day and the way u take it i could give u a much better answer on what your goin to go through...i had a habbit of takin 30mg oxycodone 20-30 times daily...ive been told by alot of doctors i should have been dead long ago but ive managed to stay clean 10 days so far now...the best advice i can give u bro is if u can get ahold of suboxone that will help alot but just about a 10 day supply..and something to help u sleep cause i know ur tossing and turning like crazy...and antsi as hell...one good tip at night to go to sleep(gotta be quick about this) get in the shower..make the water as hot as it can go...burning u pretty much...and if u have a removeable shower head, run the water up and down the top of your legs and sides of ur legs...then your lower back...do this till the water pretty much goes cold...then u have anbout a 10 min window to dry off get dressed and in bed and if u time it right your body will be relaxed enuf to fall asleep ansd stay asleep...need anyother tips just ask bro i know its rough but trust me the more time ur off the better u start to feel!

YES, it is completely and totally normal. Your brain is wired now to function solely on those pills. When you take them away, your brain/body go into shock and withdrawal. All of your energy comes from endorphins. Your brain has replaced the receptors in your brain that receives those endorphins with the drug. So now that you are taking the drug away, you can't get natural endorphins until you completely quit the drug and for a long time. You have to be clean for a while to start to produce natural endorphins again. its a long process and is one of the leading causes in relapse. That and depression. But it can be done and you can go back to how you were before, with will power and meetings. Good luck.
