COMEING HERE HAS HELPED ME TO DROP MY METHADONE INTAKE BY 90 % BUT I STILL HAVE SOME TO WORK ON IT AMAZES ME HOW MUCH THIS SIGHT HELPS, I HAVENT BEEN ON IN AWHILE BUT IM READY TO QUIT THE REST SO IM BACK THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT

Just like you I am 90% done with my taper, it has been a long, long, process. But its gonna be so rewarding when its all done & over, I know it could be months before I really begin to feel better, & thats ok, Im mentally ready for what is in store for me, but wont it be so nice to wake up in the mornings especially during the summer time coming up, & just be clean? I have two young adolecent boys & a career & a household to run & am tapering off methadone with success, Im not done yet, as I still have one month left, but I know I can do it, as you will to.  Much Luck Penelope

Welcome - my fiance and I are battling the same demon.  We have been detoxing for awhile also, we are at 43, dropping 2 per day....our story is on the forum if you want to check out the specifics...but we are ready to be drug free and move on with our blessed life.  Sounds like we all have a common goal there, huh?

This site certainly does help, no doubt.  I never would have thought we would utilize our pc for assistance in this.  Truly, I don't like technology very much, I think if the year was 1969 or so with the amenities from those days, we would be ok...(I will admit - this is the most I have appreciated a pc for personal use)

Stay strong...how many mg are you on now?  Are you tapering or going ct?  Best of luck, we will be here wth you for the long haul!

Ive been  on the norco for awile and am totally dependnt on it.   got a dealer that supplies methadone when i run out of the norco.  am i setting myself up for an even harder fall?  thanx for your support

Tiffany that is so great to hear,as I read these posts it appears that methadone is the hardest to stop so this is so good for the people that are soo struggling with that some proof that they can to taper down like you.Please be so proud of yourself and thankyou for sharing  .
