day 12 no pills and feel great

Today marks day 12 I decided to STOP USING vicodin and norco. I feel great overall and my body is healing. I have a few rough days here and there mentally but physically I am good to go lol. It felt good getting paid and not trying to spend money on the pills!!!! I am gaining my old self back and feel so blessed to be able to have the inner strength to do this FINALLY! Thanks to all my med help family for helping guide me in the right direction it is much appreciated ;)

Day 12 is just awesome.  Congrats to you.  Each day will bring new rays of light into your life.  It really is so much better on this side, isn't it?  I hit Day 30 today and I will be honest and say I still hit rough spots.  Normal sleep still eludes me.  BUT....  they are minor and short lived and I'm so happy with my life now I would not EVER consider going back to that life.

I laughed out loud about your getting paid.  I went to this wonderful art festival yesterday and fell in love with something that was a bit pricey.  But when was the last time I treated myself to something special?  Ummmmm... well....  Oh wait, I spent every available dollar on drugs.  And the price of this jewelry was a fraction of what I dished out on a monthly basis.  Needless to say I'm smiling with my new treasure today.  You stay with us!  We need you.  waz
