Need help on withdrawals from norco 10/325

I have had a back injury for four years now......taking pain pills on and off.....I have also had my third and hopefully final surgery 3 months ago. I have been on norco 10/325 for a year and a half taking from 4 a day usually up to 8 a day for a few mo.the right before my last operation. I was started on some anti-inflamatory about a week ago and since only take about half a pill maybe twice daily.......I had already weened. Down to 3 a day......I haven't been able to fall asleep at night and I don't know if its the new meds or the withdrawals.....I lay down at 10pm and still didn't fall asleep til 6 am.......once I fall asleep im usually ok but I just dont know what to do. I even take 3 of the .25 xanax to try to sleep and its not working. Should I stop the new meds or is it withdrawals. My rls has also gotten worse the last week and my stomach feels yucky......don't really eat much.....HELP!!!!!

The doc tried gabapentin for me for my back pain but had problems with drowsiness and then put me on carbidoba which is for parkinsons but I don't think it worked well. He never mentioned requip though. I guess I will have to ask him.  I woke up a bit ago and its time for me to take my pills. Im scared to not take my norco......scared im not strong enough. I can't even quit smoking

RLS ***** it is a MAJOR part of w/d which is what made me relapse after 7 days clean. Stop taking the pills and regain ur life if u have RLS anyways talk to ur dr about Requip it is for RLS and works GREAT i cant take it right now i am pregnant and they say no but i was on it before pregnancy and it worked wonders good luck and blessings to u

Also......is the rls....and insomnia the major parts of this? What r the other major withdrawal symptoms.......just so I can sort withdrawal from side effects of new meds.

Yeah I thought I was crazy when I thought the Morton worked better almost......I was taking 1600 mg of that a few times a day but got yelled at by doctors that I need to take more of the narcotics so I don't screw up my liver or kidneys or somethig......but after my back fusion they wouldn't let me take anti I.flamatories for at least three months.....just got the ok on the 18th of july so started them and they r working better than the norco.....im just so wore out that I wouldstill pop half a pill in the morning and then another half around four to get through the night. But sounds like u can't fully just wean......sounds like no matter how low of a dose u might as well just stop once the withdrawals happen.......arggghhhhhh.........I was so careful when I started taking this cause I didn't want to beaddicted and here I am.......but right now my depression isso bad and the pain is so bad that I don't live life.......I just wait for it to pass by......and that just *****.. I will go to walmart tomorrow.....its prob two min from my house. I just want my back fixed and to not feel like fifty pound weights are.hanging on my legs when I wake up........guess im just gonna stop now that I have heard from u.......again....thank u

Get up to walmart tomorrow and pick up the hilands restful legs its homeopathic I think I took 2 every 2 hr wile it was bad you cant O/Don the stuff the vitamins will help in a couple of days this stuff deplets our bodys of these minerals and thats what causes the problems as fare as taking them ever again.....I dont recamend it it to ez to wind up right back where you started as the saying goes 1 is to many and 1000 not enough wait about 3 days for the vitamins to work then jump ship you will be hapy to have it over with in 4 or 5 days then your body can begin to heal most of us in this forum live in less pain off the crap then when we where taking it after your off it a wile a 800mg ibuprofen actually works hang in there dude you will make it threw this good luck and God bless......Gnarly

Also wondering.....I have pretty severe depression and was wondering if this could be effected by the withdrawal or if I need to tell my doc im stopping.

The more I read on this site the more I think it is all the norco withdrawals......I took according to docs instructions but there was that occasional...hey I need a boost and I would take one......so not sure what that makes me....dependant or addicted....but I am also having severe neck pain.....when I close my eyes to sleep my eye balls wont stop moving....and I was diagnosed with rls a couple years ago......is that something u can take for it on a regular basis?  And now that this anti-inflamatory is working prettywell......once I fully withdrawal from the pills willl I be able to take them for my back on occasion when needed or with that throw my body right back I.to it?

HI Welcome to the forum sound to me like you tapered off to fast and thats what threw you into withdrawals get some stuff called highland restful legs up at walmart its in with the vitamins it will help that wile your there pick up a 3 in one vitamin calcium/magnesium/zinc
and start by taking 4 in the morning and 4 at dinner this should reduce your withdrawals
as for the sleep until your off them completely your body clock cant reset itsef so insomnia is going to be the norm for a wile not much will help this some people find melatonin works for me I just had to suffer threw it hang in there your almost tapered off a mater of fact if I where you with those symptoms already just jump ship and get it over with you could be threw in 4 or 5 days no telling if you keep tapering time to roll up the sdails batton down the hatches and ride out the storm you can do this keep posting for support good luck and God bless......Gnarly

And then today I took a whole pill to get rid of the pain but maybe I need to just stop taking them all together.........im a mom of three and this is driving me crazy.....I had my back fused to feel normal but that's not what I feel.
