day 5 of trying to ween off

trying like hell to stay on track.....down to 21/2 percs yesterday! very hard cause my wife dont want to quit, but i love her and she'll do it in her own time. do any detox from gnc work?

Congrats on your commitement and STAY STRONG! you can do it and maybe your wife will find inspiration to kick the habbit too!

DO NOT take Ultram!!! From my own experience, the WDs from Ultram was a lot worse than Percs/Vics. Ween off the perc's at your own pace...i wouldn't recommend the Ultram.

Also, try a lot of Detox tea; seeme to help... you can get it from any health food/supermarket/drug store. Herbal De-Tox teas cleanse your body and also relax you. I'm having one right now and I'm on day 2 of CT WDs of Vic's. Feeling bad, but fighting!!!

i am so very proud of you.  it takes strength and determination when your spouse continues to use.  i was an oxy snorter...i know how hard it is.  thankfully my hubby hates pain pills....hang in there.  it gets better n better.

just me i've had enough! started out needing them for my back, then my wife got hook with me... she dosnt want to quit, i tried to wait to do it together but about a year went by and well guess thats an excuse! just need to do it to feel good about myself again. feels like the only time were happy is when we have an abundace of pills.. i'll check out the amino acids. i did see thomas detox. i bought a whole bottle of ultram to ween off but i found out here that its worse. so good to not be ashamed to talk

I bought all my amino acids from GNC...when I ran out of melatonin I bough the walmart kind and it didn't work like the GNC kind did. (my hubby takes it and it was the same deal for him)

I also bought the gold card to save extra $ since I would be buying alot. Have you checked out the health pages? The amino acid protocol is in there and lists stuff that is helpful and why it is. Also, buy the Ester C (vitamin C buffered) not sure why but it is better..more expensive but worth it to me.

Who is quitting? I'm lost....you or her or both?
