quiting smoking while detoxing???

Does anybody have any advise on whether it's a good idea or bad idea to try to quit smoking while detoxing from hydro?   I'm on day 3 in detoxing and I still feel like utter **** but my brain/thoughts seem clearer.
I want to kick the smoking habit as well but I was wondering if it's best to take it one addition at a time or to try to detox from both of them at once....

Any ideas?

I wouldn't do both together, hang in there, kick the opiates and u 'll cross the quit smoking brige when u get there.

That's what I was thinking because when I start craving I light up and it does help but I wanted to hear if anybody had success with just biting the bullet and fighting both addictions at once.  To be honest, there is no way I could do both anyway so it really doesn't matter.  I just thought since I'm loading up on water and vitamins and stuff now might be a good time.

But, like you say....one day at a time....

i would take it one day at a time its hard enough fighting the addction of painkillers and i smoke too smoking actually helped me relax a bit
