txting about oxycodone w/d. I'm reading that some people go into the hospital and that helps instead of doing it alone? I don't know what to do. What's the difference between a rehab vs. hosp.? ..besides 12 stepping

Thanks for the message, now I want for you to stay strong and dont give up the fight you will defeat this demon I did and I dont consider myself to that strong mentally cuz that was my hardest part of this whole ordeal for me atleast. Normally the biggest difference would be the pharmocological support that a hospital provides is superior to that of a clinic. But having said that - a good detox facility will also have medical support with some prescription meds that may not totally fix the withdrawals, but they will keep you more comfortable with some meds. And the detox facility should also have some therapy dedicated help keeping you clean - the biggest problem - in addittion to figuring out why you wanted to use in the first place.
