I have to agree with cj .If you are asking for opinions I think c/t is the best way to do it.Honestly you are not going to avoid the withdraws by taking one a day, you're just going to prolong the process.I think it is a great idea to talk to your doctor, there are things he can prescribe to help you while you're detoxing.I never took anything so I will let someone else who is more informed tell you what you can ask for.You can go to the bottom right hand side of the page and look up thomas' recipe alot of people here utilize that while detoxing. There is also an amino acid protocol. The physical part will feel like a bad flu for about 5-7 days with some high anxiety and problems sleeping, but those are the things your doctor an help you with. The mental part is in my opinion the roughest,so you have to get yourself prepared.Post often we are all here for you and will help you in any way we can.You can do this.Stay strong .Peace.

This is my feeling on the subject, my opinion. I quit cold turkey 35 days ago. I had a habit more than a decade, heavy dosage in the end. My thought of the truth is that c/t is the best, Few people can taper, the will power isn't there. You're still using, case in point. Get rid of your pills, and set your mind for a bad week. Lortab w/d won't kill you, but you have to really want to quit to get it done. You can't take one cause you feel bad. You will feel bad for a few days, then you will start to get, and continue to get, better. A week is no time. There are lots of weeks I don't even remember. Set your mind right, and quit. Others will come on and give you some pointers on supplements that may help. Taking the pills don't
Telling your doctor is a good idea....whether to take 1 pill a day or just quit? that is a personal decison but u will feel the withdrawals and one pill a day will prolong it....and it wont help much...if u choose to taper i would go a bit slower than that but u already have a bit of clean time...24 hours anyway...tapering is hard...takes discipline...i would choose ct but we are all different
