how long does it take to withdraw completely from percocets

Ive been going cold turkey from percocets for 3 days know .How long does it take to completely get off this sh**???please help me?

it depends on how long and how much youve taken ovrer the time period, at the msot severe levels of abuse, wd's will take about 7 days, be the worst the 3rd and 4th day..for mild to low addictions it will be about 4 days day 2-3 will be the worst...percocets have both oxycodonea dn tylenol in them so the amount taken cant be too severe so i wouldnt expect any thing much worse than already experienced
you are doing great hang in there, if gets really abd go to a hospital or urgetn care or find soem friends(only trusted good friends, not drug buddies) and tell them the situation and you will msot likely get clonidine and a benzo prescribed and told to buy over the counter immodoum for diarrhea and anti-nauseas meds to help the stomach and then the clonidine will help regulate body temp, blood pressure, sweats/cold, sweats, chills, goosebumpos, restlessness, muscle aching and the benzo is very useful for the extreme anxiety and mental part of the wd and then it also aids alot with the muscle spasms and what not...its only a week at most youve comer eally far stay clean and truly enjoy life, no longer will you be enslaved by a pill, pathetic..nice job stay strong.-christos

dose and length of use comes into play as well...age and what u r using to help the process as far as supps, fluids, imodium etc..as well...age and even halth status can come into play....thing is we are all different and some feel better in a few days and others a few weeks..alot of it is attitude..a positive one does wonders..support and recovery plans help as wll..good luck

bluespence is right. 5-7 days or more, but then the mental battles last a long time (weeks to months) Now is the time to learn about your addiction/dependency. Look in the Health Pages near the top right. Read all about things. Supplements, amino acids, PAWS triggers, etc.. All can and will affect you and your recovery.

It normally takes about 5-7 days for the physical withdraw, with day 3 and 4 being the worst. But the mental withdraw can last much longer...varies depending on the individual! Hang in there...you will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel!
