I do remember those days back in 2012 when I came clean..I was on this site from Sun up to Sun down with no sleep or very little sleep and No Motivation. You will go through some stages as you heal..It is like layers being taken off and each day, month and years get better..This all take some TIME!! Have patience my friend and do keep that room dark and cool. Try not to fight the sleep because it will come back..It did for me and all I did was want to sleep..ha! I called it my catch up sleep. Just make sure you are taking those good vit/min and drinking lots of fluids..Try to avoid the sugar and caffeine right now. Also the Big Key is Aftercare..Get out and hit those meetings. This is a WE thing..I would not be here today if I did not get some outside Aftercare and also I stuck close to this site in times of troubles. I would post a question when I was down or feeling a Red Flag coming my way. Just surrender to the process and keep on pushing through to the other side. It will move like a Turtle at first but then you will be running like a Road Runner..Ha! Wishing you the best that Life may bring you!

congrats on quitting. So glad you are dioing It now. it gets better. Pretty soon you will be on the other side of this hell and out here in the light with me. I am two years this month, and it was so wrth the fight.

Supernoodles, lol. Look its better than nothing. I will tell you force feeding yourself will drag you back from the edge much quicker, if you have some fruit? that will help, but anything that's not to high in sugar will help you, avoid any caffeine's and stick with water to flush your system. Toilet troubles are part and parcel but will pass so just think on it as your body getting rid you know.
I know how bad this is and how fast your thoughts are going, surrender to it and roll with it, look in the mirror and laugh at yourself, whatever it takes my friend, your not to far from the corner now so keep your head up and stay focused, it can and will be done, right, ;)
Same timeline D. Day 3 does suck but we are doing this. Take a hot bath it does help. Our mind will be playing tricks on us so try your best to be positive. The physical suffering will be over soon. The rest is mental. We got this! Positive thoughts! Proud of you!
appetite sux. no energy to go to the kitchen. Just managed to eat a bowl of ramen (supernoodles to you) and that was a chore. cant read, your right cant seem to concentrate. dont even want to watch tv. just so terribly blah
Insomnia is by far the worst part of any detox, it *****. Youtube, movies, this site and watching old funny shows helped pass the time for me, people say reading but that never worked for me, I couldn't concentrate long enough, lol. Hot baths and plenty of them and if its at all possible try your very best to try light exercise, it can help so much.

Hi, if you have some " VICKS VAPOR CHEST RUB" lying around your cupboard, rub a good layer on your legs and feet, wherever you have pain/jerks/twitches, then put socks on. This will work and help you get to sleep.

tonights a little worse I think than last ,hope fully things will start to lighten up I,ve been on this merry go round for far too long. I know this is my last chance.
yes I got the restless body syndrome now. I can,t sleep wish I had a zanax to put me out.
Hot tub, warm water helps me the most for the leg aches and to relax to fall asleep.
Epsom Salt baths really help with the Restless legs. Also potassium. Lots of water and Gatorade.
Feel free to talk away. There is usually someone around. Hang in there.
unfortunately, wasn't aware until today....bit late for that. just going up and down. legs are driving me nuts mind is rambling....no chance of extra meds of any kind due to wasting all my $$ on fracking norcs for the last 2 years. but no cash is good and planned...cant slip, just need to talk
