Levels are different for each individual. So that makes your question pretty hard to answer. Body weight (mass) enters into the equation. Also depends upon how long you were using them. Some people can work up a rather huge tolerance. At my peak i was taking a half dozen at a time 4-6 times per day ---  dont recomend that to anyone, though - just caused more problems. And the narcs had quit functioning for pain relief...so I should think that you really need to look at your own question from a detached viewpoint.....The fact that you need to ask this question tells me that now is the time to address this thing....the good part is that it can be done.....and good luck to you ----  keep posting ....

Yes - i am also a liver patient. Already did a years worth of chemo through the Mayo Clinic and didnt do myself any favors by doing the pills.....I would advise you to have a simple blood test to check liver enzymes....and do not put it off..... the SOB is usually cardiac related and the yellow is usually hepatic....its time to take better care of ourselves ..........the good news is that the human body is a marvelous machine that is quite resilient ................and it recovers from even hard core abuse ......... keep up with the forum, its great for support and information...and ask any questions that you may have. Education is a key in this fight. You can never know too much about this affliction.

I'm glad you are able to talk to us :) You really do need to take this seriously as the yellowing is liver related and the shortness of breath is worrisome.... I have HepC myself with stage 2 liver last I checked.. I can not treat due to one kidney so the signs are alarming to me... I hope you quit snorting your pills tonight.. Just Stop.. Take them by mouth if you are not ready to stop... That is a start... If you could just cut out one or two starting tonight that would be even better.... You are going to have to come to terms with your drug use as your body is giving every indication it needs a break... They do have pain med better suited for peps with liver problems.. Most of us who take to many or Snort them are no longer taking them for pain but the High.. You should get some counseling as to where you are at in your mental health and your physical.. I wish you well lesa

Nerves do not cause skin to yellow and only rarely do they cause SOB ---- and not all blood work will check liver enzymes...look at your eyes in the mirror or ask the wife to take a look. The whites of your eyes are a very good indicator of hepatic problems. .Keep on your program and get some blood work done soon as possible - Tuesday is probably okay - but remember here, you are rolling dice with your very life - I have regained consciousness in the ER before on life support after being transported by EMS...and its really something that you want to avoid ................
