Here it is 4 days and still feeling like crap...but better than day 1-3!! I still don't have energy, my back hurts but on a good note the RLS is done!! I just feel very emotional and I am crying what seems to be all the time. I hate those pills so much, I have some left and I don't even think about taking them, in some weird way seeing them pushes me to get through all the hell I am in from them. I still have a hard time concentrating.I really hope my end is in sight..........

Supplements were and still are a huge asset in recovery.  I still take mine religiously.

You will get thru this and the light at the end of the tunnel is bright.  This feeling is only temporary and does get better.  Time will be your friend now.  You are doing a great thing here even tho it doesnt feel that way right now.  Push the fluids also, that will help.  Keep posting~~~sara

Great with the supplements. I was not one to take them but others have had success with them.

For me it took weeks for the symptoms to subside my last time (I pray). That being said, I detoxed many times so I didn't want to share that with you and have you go running out the door. A first detox may be 5 days, maybe 7 days. No one here can give you an exact day that you will feel better. We can only share our experience and your experience will be different. You may wake up tomorrow morning and feel better. One thing you do have on your side is age. You are young and your body is more apt to bounce back.

Although I cannot share an exact date with you, I can tell you that it does get better and that is a promise. Hang in there and keep talking. It does help.

Am i almost half way done or am i 1/4 of the way done???????  Iknow you can not tell me exactly whats in my future of this horrible feeling.......but any insight is better then none!

Hi & Welcome,

You are doing all the right things and now it is just a matter of riding it out. It is different for everyone. For some it is 5 days, others it is 7 days for the rls. The last thing to return to "normal" is usually the lack of energy and the sleeplessness. You were on a relatively high dose so it may take a few days longer for your body to replenish.

Exercise is great and will help. Are you taking any sort of vitamins or supplements? Also make sure to keep yourself hydrated..it is important at this stage.

Glad you found your way here and hope you stick around.
