klonopin?
Hey is it true clonzepam / klonopin helps when going through withdrawl? i was thnking that it might make me more tired....help?!

i took some alkaseltzer night time cld/flu stuff and a klon....i did sleep amazingly but i doubt ill be so lucky tonight

thank you debbie...i do go to church but im not super involved so im not sure how i would go about talking to him but ill look into it....i knw im super inpatient and thats a big problem with this i want to be done and happy now hell yesterday...im just going to take it one day at a time and tomorrow will be my first full day with no drugs so yay me and im going to try to soak tonight since im having such horrible menstrual cramps... thanks again for the support

how are you feeling today? hun please try to be patient. it is going to take time for a complete healing,body,mind,soul and spirit.
there is no easy way out. just take it minute by minute,hour by hour,day by day. your brain chemistry has to repair itself. take hot baths to relax yourself, listen to soothing music, exercising is important, a balanced diet.there are natural otc things to help with relaxing you and to help you sleep. melatonin,valerian root,sleepy time tea,try not to get frustrated about the sleep issue. our bodies can endure alot more than we think.
please get yourself involved in a support group,therapy, do you have a spiritual leader you can speak to. you need support to help you on the recovery road. relapse is very,very common. get as much help as you can to help you continue on the recovery road.you can do this. keep the faith, recovery is a marathon not a sprint.

i was on day 4 thursday and relapsed so i def know what to expect but i am really doing it this time
They are generally safe to take for 2weeks...but you hear all these horror stories on line so you never really can be sure (unless you can manage without them - that would be best!). I wish you all the best. Do you know what to expect? Been through it before?
yea i understand what you are saying for sure....ive got 5 1 mg klons and im just going to use those sparingly the first few days of wd to help and then be done with it....my neighbor has a script for them so i could get more if need be but im not trying to trade 1 addiction for another but honestly i never really had a problem with nething like those or alcohol.....just like things that make me go fast
i know i guess i keep trying to find easy way outs but they dont exist i just gotta face it head on
I took a xanax the first night without anything and it honestly made it worse and made me want a tab even more cause i felt so down then you prolly still want sleep. I didnt take anymore. i hope you find what best suits u to get through it.
thank you guys im going to hold off on the benzos unless i need help sleeping....do muscle relaxers help sleep too or should i just stay away from all pills.....? help :)
yes i know it is a benzo. the thomas recipe on medhelp doesnt include the benzos anymore used to say valium.
many people use clonidine prescribed from a doctor to help ease withdrawal symptoms. thats why i asked.
the benzos dont usually help induce sleep anyway during w/d and many times it just make you feel foggy and just yucky.
please dont keep the pills around, it is too tempting. delete all your pill contacts. you have to give yourself the best fighting chance to get clean.
when you feel tempted post and we will talk you through it.
you can defeat the demons. stay strong.

Then I would say not to use it until you have to. If you cant sleep then take it. You can do this Amber. I have faith in you and I will pray for you. I am only on day 9 so I dont have as much advise to give as everybody else does but I know you can do this.
i was 4 days clean and relapsed thurs night and now im starting over so ill prob sleep tonight if it goes the same but definately not tomorrow night because the leg twitches are so bad
The thomas recipe says to use it to induce sleep. Are you sleeping well already?
I have been on Klonopin before. It is for panic attacks and seizures. Its a Benzo.
im about to look up that recipe....no i definately mean klon...its anxiety med i used to take and i have some left so i thouhgt i might take it to sleep
are you sure you dont mean clonindine? it is a blood pressure med.
From what I have read it helps you sleep because most of the time in withdrawal you will be beyond tired but an able to sleep. Have you looked up the thomas recipe? It's on here just search for it. I personally did not have withdrawals by the grace of God but I know plent of people who swear by it.

Benzos have always helped me quite a bit (restless legs/anxiety/sleep) the only problem is that they worked too well (I had pretty bad anxiety for a couple of weeks). I wanted emediate relief and I got. I also got a dependency to Xanax. Trust me...it's easy to acquire and challenging to lose. Can you explain your concerns to the doctor and just get a few without any refills? Myself, I woke up feeling pretty sharp and refreshed. Some good sleep, when in withdrawal can be invaluable. I just worry you will continue on the "pill for every ailment ride" and find yourself dependent.
