does perks help you when getting off meth? i was taking 60mg a day for years, got myself down to 30mg, dr. got me down to10mg,i'm going cold turkey but to take the edge off going to take perks,,,will that work??

OH yes did you check out my profile? I know I tryed every drug out there and walked away did not even know what a w/d was until I got carried away with the hydo/oxy. Then I went on a 12 yr methedone ride. When my dr got me down to 15mg I started to run out 1-2 weeks early then for some dumb reason (The disease) I started to snort adderall with it because the add was like the crank then I had to take clonzepam. I went c/t from 30mg of methedone and not even go figure about the benzo....OMG what a hell of a ride. I did this in sept. I had gone threw all kinds of strange stages of w/d. The last one was I was soooo darn weak. But the first stage was HIGH anxiety to the moon...Could of it been the benzo too YEA!!!I am now getting better I study the brain disease and they say the brain will take a while but it seems to me I am very happy but the body just is taking time to heal. I am no spring chic so I abused my body being soooo wired up and doing everthing and anything at the same time. (complusive behavior) Hang on to this site you will get better and we can help with the vit/min and all sorts of things people use for the w/d more people on here know that the beast of methedone takes a bit more time because of it long legs..We have alot that are very well into there months, yrs off of this..

PS everybody can detox differnt so do not be scared of how it was for me.

i never had a problem with stopping perks,these methadone are killing me,thanks for the comment ;)

Were you on the methedone or the crank (older that what we called it)meth
If you tapered down from methedone to 10 mg you should be OK From my experince you should not sub on for another. You can check out my profile and see how long I used and what. Just hang in there will be others
