sleep aides

I have been abusing sleeping pills for some time now i am trying to stop taking them all together they are over the counter such as tylenol pm advil pm and so on i know that it will be a process getting my body over the withdrawals i was wondering if there is a way to slowly take yourself off so it isnt so bad as of right now i take about 20 to 30 pills a night yes i know very excessive but i am being honest i do not want this to continue or god forbid to get more excessive any information you could give me i would greatly appreciate it...

If I were you I would take one less pill per night and see how that goes...the biggest challenge will be the emotional part, so stay strong!! Good Luck to you!

What exactly do you take and how much?  Makes a difference. Best way to slowly take yourself off of anything is to reduce the amount by 10-20% .........depending upon what it is.  Most of those things can do a rapid number on your liver in particular - - - but they also hit the cardiac and CNS areas quite hard.....   You are doing the right thing = trying to stop taking them.  All parts of your body are affected.
