subaxone withdrawl

I have been taking suaxone for 10 months. I started at 12 mg dailey and up till now have been at .50 mg 1/4 of a 2mg tab. Today I am stepping off. I would like to know what I am in for and for how long. Thanks

It will probably take 2-3 days for you to feel the worst of any withdrawals. If you need, you might try taking just a crumb every other day, then every 2 days, so on and so on til you don't need anything. Unless your withdrawals aren't bad, then just ride it out for a week or so. Good luck to you.

It seems like everyone has had different symptoms. You are jumping from a low dose so hopefully it will not be too bad. From what people have stated, it takes about 5 - 7 days for the worst to be over with. Several have done this so I am sure some will post their experiences for you. Have you tried skipping days? Some have done this toward the end and it is something to think about if you need to. I am still weaning down myself. I really wish you the best. This is a great place for support.
