suboxen? help with opiate abuse please read!

Hello, I am  a 34 year old male, That has been abusing pain medication for over 5 years, I take basically any pain medication i can get my hands on, percocet, vicodin, morphine, tramadol, and much more. I have tried several times to break this addiction, with no success, Two years ago,I made it as far as 10 days, and i was still suffering from no sleep, restless leg, and then i went into a deep dark depression for the longest time. I already suffer from depression, and i believe trying to get off the narcotics made me sink into the darkest depression i have ever experienced. after many attempts, I am at a point in my life, to where i see what the drugs have done and are doing to me, i have lost nearly everything. i know i can not do this on my own!! So i called around to some suboxen doctors, and my insurance (medicare) will not pay for the visits. and i am pretty sure they will not pay for the medication either, and i am starting to see i cant afford this route, I am in ohio, near columbus, and am desperate for any advice. Also does anyone know how much a prescription of suboxen would cost??  Thank You

It sounds like you're self medicating for your depression!  Have you thought about talking to a doctor about that??

Also,Suboxone is not a panacea. It's a program. Have you seen a therapist? Gone to meetings? AA? Something?
