this is a great post. I'm very proud of you. I can't wait for the day that I can quit worrying about these evil pills.
congrats you can finaly start your new life
Congratulations on 17days!! You should be very proud of yourself. I know the feeling about being broke and then lying to my husband about where the money went. I have to agree with Cathy don't be disappointed if you don't sleep well, there are a lot of natural things that can help you though. I have a nighmare story to tell you about Ambien though. The doctor gave it to me to help me sleep, well I was sleep walking in my house. I woke up one morning with the back door wide open, in winter, I had 1 snow boot in my downstairs bathroom, 1 at the front door, there was all these footprints in the snow. I have no clue what I was doing and don't remember anything about it. Really the stuff is dangerous, so you will want to flush it anyway and try something naturaly. Also I have heard of people sleep driving on the stuff that is so much scary that what I was doing but who knows, maybe I got in my car and drove too!!
way to go plymouthgirl!!! you are doing awesome. be proud of yourself. but, dont be too disappointed if the sleep is not back to normal. i have 4 months clean and still dont sleep good. i am taking sleep formula from gnc. it is all natural and not habit forming. it works for me. good luck on the rest of your clean and sober life.
cathy
I'm glad I could put a smile on your face!!! Everyone has helped me and I am hoping I can help people to.It does feel so good to be free. love, plymouthgirl
WOW!!! What a great post.I love how you addressed all the freedom you have in your life now that you've freed yourself from the drugs.Congratulations.and THANKYOU.I was feeling a little down today but after reading your post I'm smiling again.Peace.
You are doing so well and have the right attitude. Your sleep may be one of the last things to return to normal. I have to say the Ambien is a scary drug that people and doctors are just finding out about. If you need an ambien once a week or so that's one thing but don't start taking them every night like I did. You will recover your sleep sooner from the Norcos than if you take Ambien too often. You may need one every once in a while just be careful.
Freedom is awesome
WELL DONE GIRL!!!!!!! 17 days is brilliant, before you know it you will have another 17 days under your belt. Congratulations!!! Your sleep patterns will get back to 'normal', you go throw them ambein, you can do this without them. God i'm so proud of you hunni. You deserve all the hugs in the world. I'm sending them your way (HHHUUUGGGSSS) I don't know what else to say...........i'm so proud of you!!!
