You don't have anything on me. I have almost 4 years of sobriety now, but prior to that I thought I needed to drink when I felt good, felt bad, was stressed from being busy, was bored, was happy, was sad, because it was happy hour, because I missed happy hour yesterday so I can start at breakfast today, and so on. All it took to overcome my addiction was two months inpatient rehab, the rehab center's aftercare program while also going to AA every day for 378 straight days, weekly one on one Christian counseling, and admitting I had been depressed most of my life and needed antidepressants. Aside from that, I did it on my own...... Good luck and please don't drink.......
I was not calling you stupid, btw.
How many ways do we want to spell stupid? We all have though it would be OK to do something, but it isn't OK at all.
Aftercare is so important.
What kind of aftercare program are you working? Are you going to AA or NA? May be time to start working on that.
