Yes!! I have a prescription and have NEVER abused them or taken more then 1 every 4-6 hours up to 4-5 a day half at a time. And now I have tk taper off and am having WDS and my body NEEDS them even though I have never abused them. It really blows. I hope you can get something else or not take them for long. Good luck!!
Hello I think it has to do with your personality, do you have an addictive type of personality? If so, yes you will more than likely become addicted, you can just try taking them as prescribed if you're in pain and see but if you start wanting to take more then you need to stop! I have an addictive personality so everytime I've gotten a script for legitimate pain I wind up taking more and don't want to stop however my mom hates drugs and she just went thru frozen shoulder and surgery and she was prescribed vicodin (60 10 mg pills) and only took them for about 2 weeks until the pain was bearable and switched to
Tylenol and that was it. You know yourself, so you need to answer your question. Good luck to you and hope your back feels better.
Yes you can. I started out as using it for pain and I started taking more and more. However there are people who have only taken it for a month as perscribed and still go through withdrawals. If you need it for pain then you need it. I am trying to find other ways to deal with my pain without opiates.
Day 8 without any hydro or oxy for me. I started taking pain medicine 6 years ago for my back I started with2 a day after about 1 year went to 3-4 a day. I took my last pill last week and i was taken 8-10 or more day. you build a tolerance to them. I have an "addictive personality" which doesn't help. That is me. Be careful and communicate often with your perscribing doctor on how they are doing 4 you
