watson vs. malinckrodt

ok, someone please tell me if this makes any sense, or is it just my drug induced mind?
those who know i had my surgery a week ago last tuesday. i woke up and feft relief right away no more pain, tingling down my arm so surgery = sucess.. ok  stayed the night in hospital awake all night, figured i had lots of time to sleep when i got home.. so i read and enjoyed the night pushing the morphine pump every eight minutues. left early wednesday morn. doc gave me 40 5mg prec's and 40 50mg meprozine(i never heard of these). but they knocked me out like a light. so the last week i have recovered pretty good. ok this is where im not sure if im crazy..doc told me to call if i needed a refill this week. i knew that the prec's refill couldnt be called in so he would call in lortab's (my doc of choice) so instead of having him call into wallgreens where i know they fill lortabs with watsons, i had him call publix where they filled it with malinckradt pram. they say its genric for lortabs 10/500. i did this because i have had these hydro before and they dont give me the buzz the watsons do. so i figured if im not getting the buzz i could taper down a little easier.this was my plan have surgery, recover, no more pills...
my question is does anyone else feel that the pills made by malinckrodt pram (they are white oblong with the imprint of m363) are less stronger than the watsons? and if im just being stupid and fooling myself..im ready to quit and want to taper .. any idea's would help.. thanks everyone, this forum has made me relieaze i have a problem, and i thank you all for the help you dont even know you have given me.. diane

Also, the binders they use when they form the pills can vary, so some pills may work better and other generics don't.  It seems to vary according to the person and how they handle the binders in the pills.

That information came from my pharmacist a while back.  Hope it helped.

Do a search on Google. If I remember correctly. Manufacturers have to only stay within 20% of the dosage. So a 10mg can be 8mg or 12mg. I could be wrong about the 20% but I know there is some leeway.
