weak

Being the weakling that I am, I buckled at about the 90th hour and took a 7.5 hydrocodone when it fell out of the pants I was about to wash.  I cried after I took it, but I just desperately wanted some sleep.  There are no more pills in the house.  I didn't even know that one was in the house.  It's been 13 hours since I took it, so I'm basically wondering if I am about to be at square one with this bloody ordeal, or if by the grace of God I might be ok?

dont be hard on yourself, they are right sometimes it trial and error this is a hard battle to win but you can win it. many of us have done it and you can to the main thing is dont beat yourself up over slipping it happens just pick yourself up dust off and move forward. and cut the ties to pills it helps it really does it hard to take em if you cant find em or get em. we have all been there where oh crap there is a pill right in front of me and the voice starts screaming at you and its hard not to listen but you can do it. walks saved my life as well and trying to stay busy anything to get my mind of it. and one day you will help someone else out but right now you gotta take care of you and let you heal and your body regain itself again. love and light we are here to help

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to get back at me so far.  Trials and tribulations.  We all have them, and this seems to be my biggest one to date.  I want to be able to come back to this forum and actually help someone other than myself someday.  I guess it's good to have goals.  This is my last week as a 30 year old, and it would be a hell of a present to not have to worry about pills anymore.  I will keep y'all posted.

Isn't it funny that something like this always seems to happen? Somehow, somewhere a pill just happens to show up! No matter how hard we try to make sure we dont have any pills, there's always one we forgot about, one that suddenly appears out of nowhere! I'm not being sarcastic here, it actually happened to me too! It's like we are being tested at our weakest moment!

Don't worry about it too much! I don't think this will be a huge setback, just may prolong this a little! Continue moving forward, and stay strong! You can do this! Take care!

You aren't back, all it did was prolong the process. That's fine and I understand. 90 hrs is awesome and you're on you're way to finish line

You won't be back to square one, you'll be back to day 2.5. We have all been there and the mental will kick your a-- before the physical will. Go for a long walk, try to sweat some (this will mentally help to know you are flushing the pills out) and drink lots of fluid as well as eat something nutritious . Sometimes it takes a few trys to get this right. Attitude is everything, so pick yourself up, and keep the clean hours coming. Sleep will be hard as you know, just go with it. Trying to pill the sleep back doesn't work and just brings on another issue (I am the queen of trying to upstage the detox process). Hang in there, heads up pal. More will be along to give you some words.
