WOW..700 a week..Like do you take 100 a day?? I am sure you are very aware of what you are doing to your Stomach, Liver, Kidneys etc. I would for sure go to a DR and tell them the Truth..You will need a DRs help and maybe a check up on everything....I sure do pray you have not did to much damage. I have no idea how you would taper or if there would be such a thing at this point..Well I guess there would be BUT the DR would know just what to do..PLEASE tell your DR. ASAP!!

You are taking the pills straight and not extracting out the codeine?  You said Tylenol #1?  How much codeine is in each tablet?

I agree that you can't do this cold turkey.  A taper would take a while.  Do you have a dr that you can trust?

Do you mind if I ask where you get the pills?  Is it legal OTC where you live?

Why can't you function without them? I mean, I couldn't function without my norcos b/c of lame withdrawals and I'm an addict.. However, I'm 15 days clean.. What happens if you don't pop a Tylenol?

yes i just take the pills and yes OTC each pill has 8mg codeine.

So you're doing 800 mg of codeine a day, plus all the other crap in the med? First of all, I find that very hard to believe, however, I'll take your word for it, and thus have only one VERY strong suggestion - put the "I don't want anybody to know" BS aside and get to a doctor now. If you really are taking that much, and continue these foolish games, then you're pretty much dead.
Don't waste another minute on this forum - go see a doctor.

Since it's true then don't worry about how others react. You're getting some doubt here because we are all addicts and we understand what 700 a week means. I don't believe a non addict would react because they wouldn't understand. But no matter - that's not important. It's just your head trying to keep control by coming up with excuses. Get to a doc ASAP.

I believe you.  Those drugs are OTC and easy to get in Canada.

Do you have a doctor you can trust/you feel comfortable telling them about this?  You shouldn't feel ashamed.  I have heard of people taking a lot of pills.  Probably not as many as you but a lot of pills that are much stronger meds than what you are taking.  I remember someone on here was taking 30 pills per day of 10 mg percocets).  Don't beat yourself up.  What is done is done.  You can't change it.  Oh boy do I wish I could change taking the pills I did.  It only makes it worse to beat yourself up.

You should feel good about yourself for finally deciding to quit.

I believe you and You should get to the doctor asap as Kyle said above.  Your liver could fail at any time and by could I mean probably will . I am not trying to scare you but am just truly concerned

That's 3000 mg of Acetaminophen a day. I just googled it, so I believe that's the only reason your alive. You need to see a doctor ASAP and get help. I wish you all the best. Please go to your doctor as soon as you can.

I know you must be really frightened by so many things right now but you've taken the first step by posting here.  You must go to the doctor or ER immediately. Do you have a primary care doctor?  This is very serious but seeing a doctor right now is going to be the best thing you can do.  You have a long road ahead of you but there's all kinds of help.  You don't have to do this alone.  But you have to take that first step and see a physician right now.

yes thank you for your concern and advice i do understand... but the thing that scares me the most..well besides dieing is i would have to probably stay i the hospital for a period of time.. then im sure id loose my job n jobs arnt easy to come by these days... n certainly not the kind of money i make... poor excuse yes i get it..

it contains 325mg of aceaminophen per pill. @100 pills that would be 32500 mg of acetaminophen.
