why am I having symtoms?
O.K. i would really like to know why I am having withdrawl symtons when I usaully go 13 hrs without my percocet. I usually take 1 1/2 of the 10/325mg and I only cut it to my OLD usual 1 pill and now I am having symtoms. I'm wondering if it's psychological, because I am trying to get off of it or not. Is it possible to have symtoms hust by lowering the dose a little, especially since i took this doe the longest?
you def can feel the difference between 15 and 10 mgs. oxycodone is VERY STRONG MEDICINE, we just get to where we pop them like pez so we forget lol....
I have a new-found respect for these meds b/c I am tapering, and have come down (so far) from 120mgs/day to now ~90mgs/day and counting....:) I also have committed to only taking 1 percocet for bt pain instead of two, and you know what? I feel like I am getting MORE sensitive to the medication -- REALLY WEIRD!! (but I'm glad!). I thought taking 1 percocet would be like taking a tylenol b/c I am used to taking 2 -- but I am finding that when I take 1 percocet, I am actually feeling it and getting very good pain relief! I thank God b/c this is keeping my temptation lower to take more.
...although I will say that yesterday I took a total of 100mgs instead of the 90 I had gotten down to...I think maybe I was tapering too fast, but yesterday was a day when I worked (very hard) for 12 hours and found by the time I was winding down for the night that my pain was just really bothering me. I had taken 85mgs total that day and felt so proud, committed...but then it was kind of like I was fed up with having pain after having increased pain for days and days and days with the taper, and I just wanted a few hours with good pain relief. so I took a 10 mg oxycontin ~8pm and then 5mgs percocet at 11pm when the oxycontin did not do it b/c I just wanted to feel comfortable for awhile.
I am back on the horse today, though :)

I am having the symtoms, litely because i didn't get my clonidine yet. The pharmicyst made a mistake and gave me KLONOPIN lol, instead. I couldn't believe it. He miss read the perscription, I can't imagaine if I didn't already know what clonidine looked like, what would have happened. Luckily I caught it, but now I have to wait for the Clonidine. I would like to know if I show go back to my larger dose of 15mg?
Yes...when i tapered down my dose i could feel it...but i do feel alot of mine was psychological as well...My mind was on quitting and it made me want more for some weird reason
