Chin up, dust yourself off and try again. You know you can do it, you were clean a week. Just keeping putting one in front of the other. Moving forward and don't look back. So what, you messed up, it's part of recovery. Gotta learn amd identify weak moments so you know what to avoid or how to surpass it in the future. Please don't beat yourself up over the slip up. You gotta really want this, so do it.
Kyle, that's rude. "You taking meds to feel better is plain foolishness" pretty sure Con knows what just happened and feels bad enough. They came here for some support, not you reminding them how stupid it was to use again.  They certainly don't need you rubbing salt into their open wound. Can't you just be supportive at any given time without being so harsh?

"Tired of being weak with no energy". You are on a merry-go-round. When you use your body becomes dependent on the meds to feel normal. When you detox your body needs time to heal - to regain your natural energy and drive.
You taking meds to feel better is plain foolishness because all you're doing is starting the cycle all over again. You will detox again. Will you take more pills?  If you don't cut your sources and get to a meeting you will continue on the merry go round. You'll relapse . Your choice.

Sorry to hear that you chose to do that just for energy. Please know it will take your body time to adjust to getting energy the natural way instead of a quick fix with pills. You didn't become addicted overnight and you can't expect to feel normal and energized so soon. I agree you need to attend meetings and DO NOT pick up no matter what if you're going to be rid of the pills controlling you and your life you must refuse to use again. May I suggest you take vitamins, drink coffee, exercise, drink a energy drink...anything but use. You can do it!! You done it for a week, you can treat everyday as its your first and just do it for one day...everyday. I'm rooting for you!!

Hi & Welcome,

I don't think you will suffer withdrawal again but you need to get a plan in place to ensure your sobriety. The first thing would be to lose all contacts for pills. And the list goes on.

I wish you the best and hope you stay around here and listen to the members. It's a great place for support.

I am not sure if you will WD I would be more worried about taking more :/
I Know Wds are hard but you went a whole week w/o them You can do this and yes its hard . What did you do to help get through the week?
i would look into group Therapy NA meetings. Do you have a support system? Also just to make sure you dont slip up again GET RID OF YOUR PILL SOURCE #1 thing to do.
But also i wouldnt dwell on the mess up Just get past it and dont just say well i messed up so I might as well take more.. Stop get rid of pill source. then seek help and support aftercare.
Physical part of this is hard but the mental stuff is a challenge yes sir it is. I get up each day and I am 104 days now and make a choice not to use pills as part of my life anymore. My Life is better w/o them . Somedays its hard still but I just look at my life now and realize how great it is and the future and possibilities are endless.
I hope you think about what i said aftercare Pillsource.
Good luck and keep posting I am pulling for you :)
