Confused

Hi guys, looking for some help with oxycontin abuse -
I have been hooked on this stuff for six months, both me and my partner have been taking 30m at least 3 times a week. Noticed it was a problem and haven't touched it all week. I am feeling really confused about things - a feeling of not caring about anything. which is very weird for me. im over emotional and find that so is my other half. Can anyone let me know that im going to be ok - i know right, just looking for a bit of reassurance that we are going to get through this and if there is anything i can do to regain normalness to my life.
Any suggestions welcome -

As far as the amount you are on, now is a really good time to stop because it gets harder the more you take.  Not only does it get harder, your need for more grows and the time between needing it shrinks.  Take that into account with the money you're going to waste and the stress you're going to go through and the time you're going to waste .. well.  You're just going to make yourself hurt down the road and ya I get it that that's what this stuff is for, it makes you stop caring.. but read that again.. IT MAKES YOU STOP CARING.  That's kinda what life is all about =/  I'm on the stuff for pain management but alot of the affects are the same whether you snort it or take it normal.  Not to mention you're going to be forced to quit anyway because perdue changed how they make em and as far as I'm aware you can't abuse them anymore.  At any rate, it'll take a few days of being clean but you'll start to notice that you want normal things again.

If he doesn't still love you in this state, trying to do a good thing here, than he's got funny priorities.  Don't worry about that...you're thinking too much. Get a shower, get some sleep, eat a meal and have a talk with him if you're worried.

Thanks for the post.
We're trying so hard. Last night was the worst. we both felt the same nothingness and it scares me that the only time i will be happy again is when im back on it. But i guess thats how the problem starts. We are big parties and then this came into our lives we dont seem to do anything other then snort it up and layz around. Im glad i have him to support me but am affraid that things will all change now that he has seen me in this state.

Yes...this is normal...the opiates really mess with brain chemicals. Feed your brain all that's good: Vitamins, minerals, water and exercise.Sleep is very important. You'll both be fine.

Try to stay away from the oxy, okay?
