You are obviously strong and intelligent. Keep it up. Benadryl will help some with aches runny nose and sleeping (if that's the way you want to go). The worst is over. Keep smiling :)
Hey Sooner, How ya doing? You got this. Hang in there and give it the good fight. Day by day.....
You got some good info from up above..I came clean the same time u did on the first try...I stay this way now because of the aftercare..Have u checked out a meeting na/aa..You will find alot of people with your same situation and it is sooo up lifting...The big thing for me not to go back was a whole new mind set....and I have to stay away from all my user friends even if they are precribed to them...They are addicts too...I have known one since I was 17 now at 56 that is a long time...I can only talk over the phone once in a very long time...So my point of this is aftercare and the way we live now has to change...Maybe many yrs down the road I can go there..I do not know what the future holds...ANYWAY I also recommend after the hot bath get under a heating blanket..It helps the whole body besides just one area...I do have a disabled R shoulder that does give me pain when I sleep..Like cleanks said we have a nervous system in many parts of the body and it has to balance back in time...
Keep on truckin forward and do not look back...U R doing GREAT...
vickie
I, too, had issues in my left arm.....and twitched and jerked in many other various body parts......your central nervous system is freaking out right now.....it will pass as the healing process continues. Hang in there....you're doing good!
Yes I know exactly what you mean but for me it was full body spasms would just jerk me awake...my arms, legs everything.hang in there and take it one day at a time . I use nyquil at night but thats up to you. GOD bless.
During this wd I've been expcting RLS but have something different happening. My legs dont seem to bother me but my left forearm will start hurting/cramping/aching and wake me up if I sleep over an hour. It's only my left arm. Today does not seem as bad as yesterday. Has anyone else experienced someting like this?
Just wanted to lend my support as well!! You will be over the hump soon!! Take it min by min, day by day. I recommend hot baths for the aches and restlessness. Worked wonders for me. Throw some Epsom salt in there for the magnesium. Good luck and keep us updated!! You can do it!
Hang in there! You can do it. Lots of us have relapsed(me included)
Learn from this and move on.Learn how you let your mind trick you and how it made you lie to yourself. great job on the 3 days!!
