Alcohol can cause anxiety. If you were addicted, and have not fully broken the addiction, then those occasional beers are very hard on your body. It's like going through constant withdrawal. Like Ibizan said "what were your drinking habits?"
Are u honest with your doctor about how much you drink?Librium is habit forming and the body quickly builds a tolerance to it.When one stops taking it there needs to be a gradual weaning off or withdrawal will occur......the same as with alcohol. These 2 together are a horrible duo!How long have you been drinking for?how much a day?beer?liquor?wine?
Ive recently started using librium to help with my anxiety but after 10 weeks of 5mg x 4 tinmes a day I feel that my body is becoming immune as the anxiety is resurfacing but not as bad, is it possible I need a higher dose? im still drinking every day as well which isnt helping, any advice?
so u take it 10 days only right?when was the last day u took it?elevated enzymes in liver not good...liver don't need beer but its ur liver!:)))) if ur gonna have one or 2 or... and its ur choice.. do not be driving.....warning on Librium bottle does say no operating any type of machinery!
I was prescribed 10 days worth of librium to assist w/ anxiety of withdrawl as need to be off beer for a month to get a slightly elevated liver reading rechecked. have joined a moderation management program and was looking to have a beer again however wanted to see how long I should wait after last pill in system.
Medication builds to a therapeutic level in the bloodstream over a period of 10 days to three weeks. Not taking it the day of a game cuz u wanna have a beer doesn't mean it disappears from ur bloodstream. What really matters is if ur drinking and driving....best for u to stay put.Why r u on Librium and how long u been on it?
