I'm so sorry you're going through this. Anxiety is a tough, tough road.
I'm on day 96 of Zoloft, and I can tell you my journey has been positive. I've experienced some side effects, yes. But I've worked closely with my psychiatrist regarding my symptoms and progress. We're both pleased at how I'm doing - WAY more good days!
I agree with Audrey1122, I highly recommend therapy. Medication may help us manage some symptoms, but the key to living with anxiety is identifying our triggers and learning how to address them.
I know it's hard now, but better days are coming. hang in there!
hi regin, we had same story and thats the story of anxiety the only thing that we need to think off is we are on anxiety thats why we feel it and every feelings we feel because of anxiety...
Zoloft is a great medication. Do not be afraid of the "side effects" that you read about. As a matter of fact its best not to read them at all. Every time there is a new medication they have to have studies with people. Any and ALL of the symptoms that any of the people in these studies say they get has to be included as a side effect. Your doctor prescribed this medication for you because the benefits outweigh the "possible" complications. I have been on zoloft for 6 years and NEVER have had a problem. The negative thoughts are very typical and a bothersome symptom of anxiety especially thoughts of death and dying. Are you seeing a counselor? If not I highly recommend it. Therapy along with medication can be very effective in the treatment of anxiety. Stay Positive...
