ADD causing dizziness and brain fog???

Can ADD cause brain/mental fog and slight dizziness?  I've never been diagnosed, but I'm trying to get to the root cause of this.  I have many symptoms of ADD (not ADHD) stemming from childhood (I'm 36 now).

I am hypothyroid, which can also cause these symptoms that I'm having.  This suddenly came on about 9 months ago and is constant.

I've been told that Adderall can take away this annoying buzzy head, drunk-like feeling and make me clear minded.  I will try anything at this point (whether  ADD or being hypothyroid is causing this) just to feel like myself again.  It's caused much anxiety.

Yes, it has been a constant feeling from morning to night for the last 9 months. I've been to 4 doctors about this and they just don't seem to have a clue. I'm sent out the office feeling discourage each time.
My boyfriend recently told me that I may have ADD, which it never occurred to me that ADD could cause physical symptoms. Makes sense to me, although I should probably get a clinical diagnosis instead just assuming.

I have 2 Adderall pills (ea 15 mg) waiting for me to try out this weekend.
I'm a chicken when it comes to medications.  I don't want side effects to worsen my already dizzy, detached, brain fog feeling.  But I'm willing to give the Adderall a go for the next 2 days and then tell my doctor if it worked for me.

By the way, have you had these symptoms too?

It's important to know when these symptoms occur. Are they from the minute you wake up until you fall asleep or just periodical? If they're constant and as bad as you say, you should see a doctor to get the medication you need. One of the worst things to do is to suggest a certain medication before the doctor gives their input, always let them speak first so their ideas are unaffected by yours and therefore reflect their schooling better. And yes, ADD can cause a "drunk" feeling in some cases.
