ANOTHER question regarding zoloft interactions!

I been on Zoloft for about 3 1/2 weeks now. wk 1- 25mg. wk 2 through present- 50mg. I've always had really really bad allergies. I get super sneezy, stuffy, headache, sleepy, scratchy throat and watery itchy eyes. my question is....

is it ok to take over the counter allergy relief medication while on Zoloft?

Yeah. I take mine between 8:30 and 9:30 in the evening.  I think as long as it is within an hour each day thats fine.  Be patient.  It will get better!!

k. that's what I sorta do. I usually take it between 645 and 720 am everyday. is that ok?

You should be taking your soloft at the same time everyday!...yes!

I just took a generic store brand. it just made me super drowsy. but yea I took it at night and my Zoloft in the morning. do you always take your Zoloft at the same time everyday?

I take zyrtec or allegra with my zoloft and I just take it the opposite of when I take the zoloft.  Like I take my allergy meds at night and zoloft in am.  I'm not sure if it matters, but that's how I do it.

yea. I ended up calling my pharmacist and she said it was ok. it made me feel super drowsy but I think that's pretty much it. thanks c:

Ask a pharmacist.  However, I took an allergy medication with zoloft.  I took the allergy medicine an hour before my zoloft.  It may cause more drowsiness but its ok to take.  At least my doctor said it was and I was fine while doing so.

If you look at your prescription it came with a long list of precautions, including contraindications with other meds.  Or you can just google it.
