ANXIETY ? LET'S MAKE A LIST OF SYMPTOMS AND TESTS TAKEN TO HELP EVERYONE.

Reading everyone's concerns on this message board (along with my concerns) I thought it might be a good experiment(and a helpful reference guide for everyone) to list ALL the symptoms they have had and ALL the tests that have come back normal and ALL the specialists they have seen that have concluded that it was all anxiety. If you can put it in a LIST FORM with no back story so it is easy to reference that would be great. The idea here is that we can help eachother by revealing the range of symptoms that anxiety can produce ... this might ease all of our minds and help us get back to the life we were intended to live ... HAPPY and HEALTHY : )

This could be a very useful tool, as well as a tremendous source of reassurance for some of our posters, but I think it would be more relevant to our current posters if you started a brand new thread. Dragging one to the surface that is 6 years old, written by posters who are no longer members, is sort of like keeping MH in the dark ages. Put a new spin on it for our members who are active TODAY and I think you will have created a very interesting thread. We just need to let the past go.
I'll look forward to adding my 2 cents worth!

and they tell me nothing is wrong , all in your head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Symptoms:chest and stomach feel like there on fire.
My heart rate is very high and it palpitates all day long
I feel dizzy. my head is in a fog. i feel like there's some thing around my neck.I don't sleep and i have lost my appetite and i feel like my vision is useless.I am very tired and i cant concentrate. after i feel the heat run through my chest and abdomen i get the chills. I started college 4 months ago and now i have to deal with.I have been to the ER twice and they ran all kinds of blood work that turned out good  they even gave me a CAT scan and the diagnosis was Vertigo.The  2nd  time to the hospital they did a EKG, an ECHO, a chest XRAY, more blood work and every thing turned out good, except now am going through menopause. I am only 40 and have no other signs of menopause. went to my regular dr and he told me that i have anxiety. Please someone tell me this wont hang around to long. I cant drive, clean house or even study.

Wow all them symtoms have for some reason made me feel a bit better I have most of them its def anxiety but its true as tanns was saying I could b preoccupied not yhinking about the symptoms then suddenly ill have a dizzy spell heart pulp or just something weird in general
