Ambien DON'T TAKE IT

Has anyone's memory improved after stopping Ambien? I have taken about 40 doses of 10 mg over 140 days and notice a problem with short term memory. Does this get better? How can I improve it. I am done with the stuff and think it is better to drink yourself to sleep instead if you are really desparate.

i've heard some people say it gets better for them. this particular side effect seems to be more common than it should be....and with the sheer volume of people who take it every night, it's a rather scary thought. i've seen a few other posts on this. maybe try to search the archives and read through what others have said on the issue.

Ambien does have that potential side effect and people can build up a tolerance to it. You could ask your psychiatrist about Rozerem which is an FDA approved sleep aide that is safe and non addictive and works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle.
